Getting started
- Tap New drawing. The canvas has no edges, and everything autosaves as you go.
- Pinch to zoom (scroll on a desktop), and move around with a two-finger drag or the Hand tool.
- Pick a brush and draw. Strokes stay perfectly sharp at any zoom — draw a city, then draw inside a window.
- Save a viewpoint as a dive stop on the dive rail, collect a few, then tap Play story to fly through them.
- Open the Tutorials folder on the home screen — short hands-on lessons that are themselves Inzo drawings.
Common questions
Where are my drawings stored?
On your device, in the app's private storage — Inzo has no accounts and no cloud, and everything autosaves as you draw. To keep a copy outside the app, or move a drawing to another device, share it as a .inzo file.
Uninstalling the app deletes its library with it, so export anything precious first. The full story is on the privacy page.
What is a .inzo file?
One drawing in a single portable file — layers, dive stops, action buttons and all. Share it like any other file: on a device with Inzo installed, tapping it (or sharing it to Inzo) opens the drawing, ready to keep editing.
Does it work with a stylus?
Yes — the stylus is Inzo's favourite instrument. Stroke width follows real pen pressure, and palm rejection kicks in while the pen is drawing, wherever your device supports them. Finger and mouse strokes get a speed-based feel instead, so they stay lively too.
How deep can I zoom?
There is no limit. Inzo's world coordinates are arbitrary-precision numbers, not floats, so the canvas never runs out of resolution — paint a solar system, dive to a single atom, keep going. The only bottom is the one you stop at.
Which platforms?
Android today, on Google Play — tuned for tablets and styluses, happy on phones. Mac and Web versions are on the way.
How do I bring back the example drawings?
Inzo ships with 37 built-in examples to pull apart and learn from. If you've deleted or repainted some, choose Restore example drawings on the home screen: deleted ones come back and edited ones reset to the originals — your own drawings are never touched.
